I've finally finished writing my first screenplay. It's a cowrite actually with one of the writers of "Ang Tanging Ina". It's called "Dayo" and it's a 2D/3D CG animated film. It tells the thrilling (we, at least we hope it is) adventure of a boy and a manananggirl and their daring rescue of the boy's grandparents from the, uh, "hands" of some overzealous elementals. It's been a very educational and fun fun fun project. Production has begun and we have been quite fortunate to get luminaries in the film world including Micheal V, Pokwang, Nova Villa, Johnny Delgado and Peque Gallaga to lend their talent in voicing the characters. "Dayo" is intended to hit local screens next December. Harinawa.

DAYO
